Merry Christmas!!

It has been a wonderful year and I have learned so much.  I have been reflecting over the years activities ... and I am filled with gratitude for all the wonderful people I get to associate with!  I am so grateful for the opportunities I have had to capture your memories and help you remember each stage in your children's or families life.  I have pushed my learning and discovered that I enjoy theater photography, a lot (who knew).  What a fun filled year it has been.  Thank you all for your friendship and support.  Have a wonderful holiday season!!

I love this family and had such a great time taking their family photos.  Mom is one of the nicest people I've ever met and is always thinking of others.  The kids are so fun to be with and have a lot of fun together.  I love this picture (above) that shows how much they enjoy and love each other.  Thanks for the fun time!

The Rebel

 Man how this kid has grown!  He's such a fun kid to work with ... he's got great ideas and isn't afraid to just be himself .  I hope '8' is a great year for you and '9' is too.  You're a great big brother and helper to your mom ... way to be awesome! 

 

 

 

 

Rollins Extended family ~SouthernUtahFamilyPhotographer

It was such a privilege to photography this extended family.  They had a unique request ... to have their family photo's take at the site of the new Cedar City temple. When the temple is built they are going to have another one taken on the temple grounds.  I was worried about the lighting, but we were blessed! They turned out wonderful.  Everyone was so cooperative and happy, I had no trouble getting anyone to smile (thank you)!  You have a beautiful family, it is wonderful example of eternal families!

Calling All the Monsters

Oh my goodness!  This was one of the most fun, hilarious, Halloween shows ever!!  It was put on by the family and friends of Cedar City Children's Musical Theater (CCCMT) in Cedar City, Utah.  When they asked me if I'd like to be part of the show ... I was a bit reluctant (after all I hadn't been in a musical or show choir since high school).  But after the first practice, I was hooked.  All of these people are fabulous and so much fun to be around.  Their excitement for life, dedication, and kindness to each other is amazing. In theater you are encouraged to 'act a part,' but along the way you find that it is so much easier to be the 'real you' without judgment or worry of scorn.  When something goes wrong they pull together, support each other, and know that 'everything will be alright' otherwise knows as "the show must go on."  We are all so grateful for those who came to watch the show and support us ... we do it for you!  Thank you!

 

Of course I was also supper excited for the opportunity to photograph the show.  The poses, and facial expressions are SO MUCH FUN!  Here are the cast shots ... enjoy!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Precious Baby

 

 This little angel was just that ... and ANGEL!  Although she was bit old for an infant photoshoot, she still cooperated pretty good. She was wide eyed for a bit, then slept for bit.  Just a delicate little butterfly and tiny little thing.  I love, love, love her blue eyes also, they are just bright!  And that curly hair - just like her dad :)  Adorable!

 

 

 

 

 

All Grown Up

 

So grown up!  He keeps me up late talking, is a great babysitter, loves his siblings a ton, is helpful, does well in school, changed my life by making me a mom :), and still loves to snuggle with mommy (but don't tell him I said that).  This year marks a special year for him, the big 12 years!  I have been so blessed to have him as my little (not so little) boy.  He's a bit crazy and creative, ALL boy, and these photos fit that personality well.  Thanks for all the wonderful years, and many more to come.
